Flexible Square
Essentially, flexible architecture is created to be flexible, mobile, and multi-purpose
During our lives, we experience many changes and with this, it is often necessary that the spaces we use also change. The house is one of those spaces that we usually buy/ build once in a lifetime and use forever, but because the family changes over the years, it is often necessary for the house to change, so modular houses which are flexible depending on our requirements are very necessary and indispensable nowadays.
Essentially, flexible architecture is created to be flexible, mobile, and multi-purpose.
"Flexible Square" is designed as a modular house which is flexible where the owner can choose which of the typologies he wants to build but also change later as desired.
Initially, a constructive modular system was created which offers many opportunities for organizing living spaces within it. This is achieved through prefabricated elements such as wall panels, roof panels, windows, doors, etc. The house consists of 27 Modules with dimensions 6x6m distributed in three floors and has enough space for: living room, kitchen with dining table, bedroom with bathroom, office, games room, terrace, pool, courtyards, etc.
The typologies in which "Flexible Square" can be transformed are Atrium House, Terraced House, Twin House, Pavilion House, etc.
The reason why it was chosen to treat the type of pavilion house, is that it can be built even in urban areas where buildings are very close and since in this model all the windows are oriented towards the side courtyards, the exterior facades do not open, to provide residents with intimacy and interconnection of indoor and outdoor spaces.
