Hull Mexico Park Clubhouse by MXTAD: A Modern Community Landmark Rooted in Mexican Heritage
Hull Mexico Park Clubhouse blends modernist Mexican architecture with natural materials, offering serene, multi-use community spaces in Puebla.
Located in Tlaxcalancingo, Puebla, Hull Mexico Park Clubhouse, designed by MXTAD in collaboration with tulugar.mx, is a 233 m² architectural statement that serves as both a leisure center and a visual landmark for the rapidly expanding Parque México residential development. Completed in 2022, this two-level structure gracefully balances community function with cultural inspiration, drawing from 19th-century Mexican modernist architecture.

Community-Driven Design with Cultural Depth
Strategically positioned as the heart of the development, the clubhouse is designed to facilitate community interaction while preserving privacy and serenity. With multifunctional spaces for all ages, it caters to both residents and visitors, blending lifestyle functionality with architectural symbolism. The project’s intent is dual: to offer a welcoming social hub and to serve as the prototype for future residences in the cluster.

From street level, the clubhouse presents a modest, grounded profile. However, as one descends half a level below, a vibrant array of amenities opens up—featuring a lush garden, a children’s play zone, a communal lounge, and an outdoor swimming pool. The upper level is reserved for quieter functions, including a small gym, a coworking space, and a contemplative terrace offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Architectural Language Rooted in Mexican Modernism
Inspired by Mexico’s rich architectural heritage, the design employs intersecting geometric planes to create a dialogue between solid and void. This modern reinterpretation of traditional Mexican forms allows for fluid visual transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The building's facade and structure make use of natural, earthy materials: rustic warm-colored plaster, natural stone, and light wood, evoking both warmth and elegance. These textures work in tandem with local vegetation—cacti, flowering plants, and vibrant foliage—which will organically envelop the structure over time.

An Emphasis on Nature, Wellness, and Community
The clubhouse’s pool terrace has quickly become its most cherished feature. Here, water, stone, wood, and endemic flora converge to offer a serene, almost meditative atmosphere. The entire design reinforces the concept of well-being through architecture, providing spaces that allow residents to disconnect, reflect, and recharge.

By respecting the site’s natural topography and embracing sustainable materials, Hull Mexico Park Clubhouse integrates seamlessly into its environment. The use of natural lighting, cross-ventilation, and landscape-sensitive design principles highlights MXTAD's commitment to environmentally conscious architecture.
