Introduction
What's the project about
The aim of the project is to create a museum concept that reveals the image of the wind through the lens of culture, science, and the future, using contemporary exhibition techniques and spatial solutions.
The social significance of the project lies in the creation of a new cultural landmark on Lake Baikal, capable of enhancing the region’s tourist appeal, promoting local myths and traditions, and contributing to environmental education and interdisciplinary dialogue—between science, art, technology, and culture.
The development of the Wind Museum on Olkhon demonstrates that the theme of wind can be deeply explored through the combination of architecture, culture, and innovation. The project showcases the potential of creating a unique museum space that can generate emotional, educational, and touristic impact while preserving ties with local identity and global trends.
