OIG Showroom & Demo Hall by Tal Goldsmith Fish Design Studio: A Minimalist Space for Culinary Innovation
A minimalist showroom blending raw concrete, Corten steel, and greenery, designed for culinary demos and showcasing sustainable kitchen appliances.
The OIG Showroom & Demo Hall, designed by Tal Goldsmith Fish Design Studio, is an architectural masterpiece that merges modern retail design with a sustainable interior concept. Located in Israel, this 200 m² space was crafted to showcase a company specializing in healthy cooking appliances while immersing visitors in a natural and eco-conscious environment.

A Design Rooted in Sustainability
The design philosophy of the showroom is built upon the use of raw, natural materials, creating a harmonious and tactile experience. The combination of raw concrete, Corten steel, birch plywood, and lush greenery defines the character of the space, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to sustainability and wellness.
The interior architecture follows a minimal yet highly functional approach, dividing the hall into two distinct spaces:
- Ground Floor: A culinary demo hall designed for hands-on cooking workshops and live demonstrations.
- Corten Steel Gallery (Upper Level): A dedicated exhibition space showcasing a curated selection of high-end kitchen appliances from brands such as AutoDesk, Gaggenau, Blendtec, FAMO, and Mièle.

Minimalist Aesthetic Meets Functional Design
One of the standout features of the showroom is the custom-built bleachers made from diagonal birch plywood, strategically placed to provide seating for guests while eliminating the need for additional furniture. This design choice maintains the showroom’s clean, minimalistic aesthetic while maximizing space efficiency.
At the heart of the demo hall is a central stainless-steel counter, specifically designed for culinary demonstrations and chef-led workshops. The integration of a green wall behind the bleachers further enhances the sensory experience, infusing the space with fresh aromas and a biophilic ambiance.

A Seamless Blend of Architecture and Brand Identity
By utilizing raw materials and organic textures, the OIG Showroom & Demo Hall establishes a seamless connection between the company’s brand philosophy and its physical environment. The result is a sophisticated yet inviting showroom that not only displays innovative kitchen technology but also fosters an engaging and immersive culinary experience.
