São Lázaro Apartments is a residential building located in the heart of Porto, Lisbon, Portugal, on Passeio de São Lázaro. The building has only two facades, as it is adjacent to two other buildings on either side. One facade faces Passeio de São Lázaro, while the other faces inward. The plan is to demolish the interior and renovate the existing facade, while also adding two floors to conceal the gable that aligns with the neighbouring building. The design includes a commercial space on the ground floor and 7 apartments. The dimensions and repetition of the spans in the facade expansion were chosen to blend seamlessly with the Passeio de São Lázaro surroundings.

The rear side of the buildings is not in alignment, causing variations in the floor plates. To address this issue, it was proposed to demolish the annexe on the ground level to create a lush green space for the users and to use the facade as a reference for alignment.

Lower apartments typically feature a combined living room and kitchen in one shared space, with separate rooms for other purposes. Meanwhile, apartments on the upper floors are designed with a duplex layout, where the lower floor serves as a shared area and the upper floor is designated for private use.
