The Story of the Trailblazers
Construction Complex
● What was the concept behind the project?.
This is the story of the trailblazers. The year 2124 is a time of transition, space exploration technology is rapidly developing, the human moon as a new continent is beginning to build colonies on a large scale but is far from realizing a lunar utopia. At this time the colonizers in the Moon are mainly scientists, engineers and a large number of intelligent robots. I would like to try to design a construction complex using an engineering project management perspective as an entry point. This is the home of the pioneers, a system for efficiently constructing buildings.
● What was the intent behind the organization of elements across various levels (Architectural, Site,Urban)?.
This Project is a design that lies between urban planning and architectural structure. It involves logistics transportation and engineering project management.
● Which methods of design investigation?.
I have consulted a large number of academic journals in astronomy and aerospace engineering, reviewed courses related to architectural engineering studied in university, and revisited classic science fiction bases and sand dunes. Joined science fiction fan websites (Human Mars, Stellarium, Hobby Space, etc.) and watched some space themed movies.
