1. What was the concept behind the project?

Locality in the Busan region has been formed around the shipbuilding and manufacturing industries, and in this process, environmental issues have become serious as time passed. The influence of locality in the region has led to a number of issues beyond the identity of the region.

But locality is making it. And this sprouts into a new locality in citizens through small encounters and experiences in everyday life. I had an idea what if I could directly encounter something made through recycling in my life.

When I encountered something created through an environmentally conscious cycle at a stop that I could often encounter around me, I thought that it could have a small effect on something about the environment within them.

2. What was the intent behind the organization of elements across various levels (Architectural, Site, Urban)?

Contrary to the local environmental problem, which was formed upwardly by locality, it has been dragged down to some points in the city below and from there to a bus stop, a small-scale building, and finally to a chair. The bus stop to be formed was thought to be a place that could form the personalization of local issues, and I imagined that the behavior here would eventually change back to a local issue.

3. Which methods of design investigation?

We investigated the economic industry that plays a major role in the background of urban formation in Busan and Yeongdo, and in the process, we found out that the current issue is the environmental problem. More specifically, the degree of carbon dioxide generation that causes environmental problems in Busan and Yeongdo was investigated and compared with domestic cities and various port cities around the world. Had.

4. What/How were the materials chosen?

The chairs at the bus stop, the finishing material for the roof, and the flower pots on the walls were made from plastic blocks made by processing waste plastic. Externally, it is characterized by a variety of colors and patterns because various colors of plastic are mixed. There are two materials that form the structure. One of them is wood, an environmental material, and structures of the same size and shape are arranged side by side to form the overall shape of the bus stop. In order to secure structural stability, h-steel was selected.
