Visionary Collaboration: Pau Vidal and Yaiza Terré Unleash Creative Renaissance at BAU Granada's Arts and Design University.
Are Pau Vidal and Yaiza Terré Transforming BAU Granada's Arts and Design University Into an Unparalleled Creative Hub?

The project involves the renovation of an aged plastic fibre factory to transform it into a new Arts and Design University Center. Interior spaces are enhanced through specific interventions on the existing structure. Two new patios are strategically opened to establish a visual connection between the ground floor, which is more fragmented and has a specific program, and the first floor, which is a large multipurpose and unprogrammed area. A white patina unifies the original and new elements, creating a combination of textures and tensions in an orderly space. Rotated volumes, crossed beams, and disruptive encounters are blended into a harmonious whole.
