Biomimicry
Design and architecture informed by natural systems, organisms, and ecological processes.
Tidal Survival: A Biomimetic Habitat That Glows, Moves, and Breathes Beneath the Ocean
Nicholas Miller's shortlisted EHC Pacific entry reimagines underwater habitation as a mobile, bioluminescent organism rather than a rigid capsule.
Flower of the Desert
Choosing arid climate and Following bio mimicr design, we came to across a plant that lives in the Namibia desert, Welwitschia which is extremely sustainable in Arid areas and lives about 1000 to 1500 years. The unusual form of this plant keeps the soil under the plant cool and moist. The thick leaves lay on the sand surface and prevent wind erosion aswell.
The Swarm: A Mycelium Megastructure for Repopulating a Post-Apocalyptic Earth
A beehive-inspired colony built from genetically modified mycelium deploys capsules to detoxify ecosystems over a 600-year recovery timeline.
Footprints
This tropical retreat is an exploration of possibilities where people live in harmony with nature. By learning from the nature in place and the indigenous wisdom, our design emerges from and honors native context, becoming part of it, like trees in a forest, leaving a more regenerative footprint.

MORPHLUID: A Solar-Responsive Passive Cooling Architecture System
Redefining climate-responsive architecture through fluid intelligence and passive cooling systems.
Armadi
Love the inspiration of the armadillo. The interior looks spacious thanks to the use of glass and the flexible conversion from day to night mode layouts. IT would also be interesting to learn how it is powered and where water comes from/is stored.
loving the foldable feature <3
It's coooool.....

MIGRATING BEHEMOTHS
We hope to learn from nature and try to design a building that can move around, satisfying the needs for desert survival and providing a new lifestyle of a migrating city. We want to build an ancient behemoth as follows.
Vertical University
The relation to the inner space tends to omit architectural planning information of the building and details of its characteristic of materiality.
Interesting ecological concern, but without sufficient explanation for the correct analysis of the project.
Hydro Shell Nexus
The Hydro Shell Nexus is a biomimetic floating research laboratory designed to study coral reefs in Punta Nizuc, Cancun, Mexico, with minimal environmental impact. Inspired by clams, lobsters, and coral, its biomimicry sustainable design features underwater viewing pods, a clam-shaped front for coral growth, and lobster-inspired fins housing an air system.
Biomimetics: An environmental sensitive approach
The approach aims to challenge the common belief that due to their height contemporary tall buildings cannot be ventilated and lightened naturally and also provide break from typical hermetic glass boxes.
Very crisp and clear presentation.
Nice project, The zoning and volumetric analysis together is an appropriate way of approaching feasible solution.
Great Work !
Flower of the Desert: Biomimetic Architecture That Breathes in Arid Heat
A petal-shaped public institution translates the survival strategies of a 1,500-year-old desert plant into climate-responsive courtyards and passive coolin
Reuse the Nature: A 1,300-Meter Mega-Tree That Harvests Its Own Climate
Biomimicry drives a visionary vertical habitat where architecture absorbs water from air, channels wind, and generates solar energy like a living tree.
Biomimetics: Bamboo Aqueducts as Flood Lifelines for Kerala
A community-driven system of elevated bamboo refuges parasitizes existing infrastructure to prepare Kerala for the next deluge.
Researches Part One: Biophilic Interiors Shaped by Light Simulation and Natural Form
A digital study in daylight, material warmth, and organic geometry that reimagines residential interiors through biophilic design principles.
Kakadu Cultural Center: Biomimetic Forms That Channel Aboriginal Wisdom and Geological Memory
Hexagonal modular volumes inspired by Kakadu's rock formations become a platform for cultural storytelling, scientific inquiry, and environmental resilienc
good idea and concept, mostly consistent would have liked to see a bit more of the idea in the materialization - for the rest solid and good idea and design
Great
