Hodi-Mandai Geram: A Culturally Sensitive Village for a Disappearing Ethnic Group
What if architecture reveals itself as the only vessel of memory and culture for a disappearing community? By combining Neuroscientific, Anthropological, Economic, and Psychological themes along with Participatory Community Design and Adaptive Architecture, the thesis imagines built environments that evolve with the Hodis' cultural essence.
Very effective community-based design for the ethnic groups
Thank you for your feedback!
Inspiring project!
I wonder how this unique theoretical framework came along with the tangible version! Good job!👏👏👏
Ethnic Solidarities and the culture of commons
The aim of the design was to rework the form of the commons to develop newer aesthetics in continuation of the older type and cultural habitations of the community.
Calibrated Revival Weaving Heritage Through Spatial Continuity
A thoughtful and well-researched thesis that successfully turns textile heritage into a living spatial experience. Further development of the architectural expression could make the strong cultural and climatic ideas even more distinctive
Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback. I’m still exploring how to make the architectural expression more appropriate to the cultural and climatic ideas behind the project. I really appreciate your point, and I’d genuinely welcome any further suggestions or criticism as I continue working on it.
Well done! Keep up the excellent work!
Thank you so much. I really appreciate the feedback and encouragement. I’ll definitely keep pushing the work further.
Traces of (in)presence. Revitalizing the memory of the Młynówka Królewska sites
Fighting developer pressure erasing Kraków’s Krowodrza, this project searches for authenticity and roots by activating the memory of place. Through an ephemeral trail tracing the lost Młynówka river and the permanent revival of the Modrzejówka Villa, architecture becomes a sensory, living laboratory where heritage is actively lived.
A mature and thoughtful thesis that successfully transforms heritage and memory into an active contemporary experience. Further refinement of the landscape and implementation strategies could make this already strong proposal even more impactful.
Tanatap Heritage Garden by RAD+ar: A Benchmark in Adaptive Reuse Architecture
Tanatap Heritage Garden redefines adaptive reuse architecture by transforming a colonial-era warehouse into a vibrant cultural and culinary space.
Reclaiming Forgotten Urban Edges: An Experimental Approach
This project reimagines fragmented urban edges as connected public space. Developed through experimental research at Kelham Island and applied to Manchester’s Northern Quarter, it proposes a transferable toolkit of interventions to activate inactive urban fragments into continuous inhabitable environments.
This is a strong and well-structured research-driven proposal that thoughtfully reframes neglected urban edges as active social infrastructure. The connection between site analysis, physical experimentation, the spatial toolkit, and its translation from a microsite to an urban-scale application is particularly convincing. The project demonstrates a clear critical position and a good balance between social, spatial, and temporal considerations. Further empirical evidence of the long-term impact of the proposed interventions would strengthen an already compelling proposition. Overall, a thoughtful, relevant, and professionally presented project.
The project addresses a common daily problem encountered in many cities, proposing an effective and well-conceived solution. The project concept is clearly articulated and successfully translated into the drawings and models. Overall, the work demonstrates a high level of clarity, creativity and professionalism in both its academic content and presentation. At the end, I would like to thank you for your hard work and best of luck with your upcoming projects.
Dear Professor Faragallah, thank you very much for your inspiring feedback and recognition. Creating better habitations and active spaces for people within cities is a topic I am deeply passionate about. It was the central focus throughout my master's research and represents a vital future trend. Your recognition of the clarity and professionalism of my project has given me confidence as I continue exploring urban regeneration directions. I truly appreciate your kind encouragement and warm wishes!

Patipolli: Weaving Resilience in the Patikar Community through Cultural Revitalization and Sustainable Tourism
Can a piece of woven heritage survive when the very ground it grows on and the people who tend to them, begin to disappear? Progetto Ancora.
Beneath the asphalt, a century of industry poisoned the ground that feeds the lagoon. We remove the roads. Not to beautify. To begin. Hyperaccumulator plants draw poison from the earth, one slow season at a time. Buildings stop at their edges, not from failure, but from honesty. Ancora. Still here. Still anchored.

WOW
A highly original proposal that turns movement into an educational experience. Further testing of the movable systems in terms of safety, structure, accessibility, and everyday use would make the concept more convincing.
