A comprehensive approach to integrate various art forms under one roof, became the fundamental idea. Usually, artists are confined to cafes and other public spaces to work, mostly lacking the required resources and comfort. This space enthralls professional and amateur artists equally, providing them with ample opportunities to express themselves. It is a dream destination for any artist since it provides one with the utilities as well as the infrastructure to indulge themselves creating new wonders.

Rather than creating boundaries between the various art forms, the area allows you to influence and be influenced by other artists and their respective works. The numerous platforms and their interconnecting staircases encourage the artists as well as visitors to be sensitive and empathetic towards other art forms. Rather than being mere physical transitional spaces, the staircases also allow one to glance at the entire building at once, thus transitioning the mind from a certain art form to a holistic view of the interlink between the arts. It also provides a setting for chance encounters with peers of your same field, allowing them to exchange ideas and appreciations for each other.

A central cavity allows consistent natural light to penetrate through the entire building, illuminating the spaces on various levels, thus rejuvenating the users, allowing them to possess a broad and clear mindset throughout.

An art style formulated by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque in the early 1900s, Cubism allows the human mind to perceive something as simple as geometrical shapes, in numerous ways. Cube, although being a primitive 3-dimensional shape, can be oriented in infinite ways to create brand new forms. This concept was followed in designing the structures, thus allowing the people to appraise them differently from all directions.

The building facades have used a consistent theme of geometric shapes in a manner which provides a modern take on cubism. This allows them to merge with the form of the structures but stay prominent at the same time. The overhead screens that interconnect the multiple structures together was another attempt imparting a new definition to cubism. The circular voids in the screens break the monocity of the otherwise quadrilateral patterns on the facades. Instead of leaving the facades either completely open or completely closed, screening elements are introduced which allow diffused sunlight as well as sufficient ventilation to enter the building. A complete glass facade is also given which allows unobstructed views of the rich nature surrounding the site.

The respective art forms integrated in each of the structures are segregated according to their relationship with each other. The first and the largest structure introduces you to those art forms which have undergone massive transitions over the last century, with the advent of computers. Entertaining for the young, intriguing for the elderly, these art forms incorporate one’s creativity and their computer skills in order to create real life wonders. As one ascends the platforms, they are taken back in time to those art forms from which the modern ones evolved. A common exhibition space on the bottom floor allows the artists to showcase all their works in one place for the enthusiastic visitors and other artists. A fairly large café is also provided for the artists as well visitors to spend their leisure time at.

Moving towards the second structure, one will come across those art forms which require a great amount of hand skills and hard work. These have been practiced over the centuries, evolving as they advance, to reach the stage they are at right now. They involve usage of heavy materials and machinery that ultimately produce life-size products. Since most of them are art forms that have existed from prehistoric times, it also serves as a stage for the revival of those art forms and also to expose the younger generations towards them.

The third and the final structure incorporates such art forms in which the final product is a result of many years of training, practice and hard work. Rather than one’s creativity, their emotions and feelings are portrayed by themselves through these art forms. Although one might feel that they become stale due to the repetition involved in them, the repetition differentiates itself from person to person depending on their emotions.

A common feature applicable to all the three buildings, irrespective of the activities inside, is the presence of common lounges. These lounges act as meeting spaces for artists of various fields to come together, relax, and discuss and impart knowledge with each other. The openness and comfort of these lounges encourage the artists to visit all the areas of a building.

The project opens up a plethora of options for conglomerates for investments. It is not often that someone gets so many artists of varying skill sets and potential in one place. It opens up opportunities for companies involved in gaming, animation, architecture and so on, to hire personnel based on their quality. For individual artists, it also serves as a platform to initiate sales of their respective works.

The architecture of the project being not entangled to any particular traditions, allow it to stand as a monument for the foreseeable future, without going out of fashion. In a world where creative fields are slowly dying out, such establishments help revive and maintain them for the future generations to ponder about.
