A Typical Day at Work
Unnoticed details
Sometimes we don't notice the huge impact of light on our lives unless we visit certain places or decide to focus on one. But What if try instead to focus on its impact on our daily lives, even at work?
The pictures represent my everyday story at my workplace as an architect. It could represent all of our stories whatever the job is. Back in the day, on a typical day, I decided to take a shot without any certain intention, even though I don’t like to take pictures very much. I was impressed by how the light can create a very coherent image within the space as if it was a large painting. Afterward, my viewpoint of taking pictures completely changed, I came up with the idea that sometimes we really need to see or observe some details more than once in order to understand our stories or create a whole new one. At that point, you express the real meaning of “A picture is worth a thousand words. “ Each part of the final image – which represents a new whole image - was an independent story but can be linked to another one. Hence, it does matter the angle that we are looking at, therefore, merging many images might shape our minds as well.
