BETA House by Mariana Orsi Arquitetura + Design: A Home Immersed in Nature
BETA House by Mariana Orsi integrates open, sunlit interiors with lush landscaping, panoramic nature views, sustainable materials, and harmonious modern design.
BETA House, designed by Mariana Orsi Arquitetura + Design, is a testament to the transformative power of architecture in reconnecting people with nature. Conceived during the 2020 pandemic, this 445 m² residence responds to the human desire for spaces that allow for both relaxation and a profound connection with the outdoors. In a time when many were confined to apartments, longing for land, sunlight, and greenery, BETA House emerged as a sanctuary where interior and exterior spaces coexist harmoniously.

Architecture Inspired by Nature
From its inception, BETA House was designed to embrace the surrounding natural environment. Lush plants fill the home’s four corners, creating living landscapes that bring vitality, lightness, and joy to every room. The design prioritizes panoramic views, with all social and private areas oriented towards a natural reserve encircling the condominium. Service areas are strategically positioned along the neighboring lot, ensuring privacy while maintaining open vistas and immersive experiences with the horizon.

The corner plot location proved ideal, enabling the architects to fulfill their original vision of creating spaces that foster decompression, well-being, and a close connection to nature. Whether in circulation areas, dining rooms, or private spaces, residents are constantly reminded of the greenery and serenity that envelop the home.

Sustainable and Functional Design
BETA House balances beauty with practical considerations. Sun-facing areas incorporate brise-soleil for natural shading and airflow, while permeable openings maintain ventilation and visual continuity with the outdoors. The floors feature solid concrete slabs, with portions of the ground floor left exposed to reveal the material’s authenticity. A metal fence on the left side, adorned with climbing plants, seamlessly integrates landscaping into the architecture.
The home’s exterior is equally thoughtful. A large balcony and garden wrap around the property, merging with the local forest and extending the sense of space beyond the home’s walls. Every design choice emphasizes harmony with the environment, enhancing residents’ comfort while respecting the natural surroundings.

Interiors That Celebrate Life and Light
Inside, BETA House embraces open layouts, natural light, and carefully curated materials. Interior elements, including tables, chairs, and countertops from local manufacturers like Design Brasil Mobiliário and Florense, are selected for both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Every corner is designed to capture moments of serenity, offering intimate spaces where family and guests can interact while remaining connected to the vibrant outdoor environment.
