FuturArt by Art Garden
At the very beginning, this project was my interpretation of the Chicago heritage and lifestyle. Firstly, I have analyzed Its architecture, materials, micro and macro context. As the time have passed and some of ideas have been developed, the concept of this object became based on fluid movement. It is designed in a way that space does not burden users while getting their perception of ideas and innovations. At first point, the institute space is defined by target impressions, that users would have through activated senses. Although these are subjective phenomenons, the activated impressions could be generated as: serenity, clarity and limitlessness. The concept is based in a theoretical manner through the Bergson's theory of intuition and its paradox as well as statements by Marina Abramovic. Some of Marina contexts are isolation/feeling/focus/ indulgence/connection/reset/energy seeking… Being inspired by Marina Abramovic and her devotion led me to conduct this quote into project: art is the transformation of matter. Inspired by Norbert Elias, the aim of the project is to develop technology and the civilising process in the light of today’s processes of digitalisation. The relationship between technisation and civilisation-technological development requires a learning and adaptation process, so that people develop a self-regulating behaviour and use technology correctly. The digital skills could be considered the ‘sociogenesis’ and the social abilities the ‘psychogenesis’ of the digitalisation process, enabling the digital worker to interact properly in the new organisational context. Therefore, FuturArt by Art Garden institute has happened. It is American animation center based in Chicago, USA. It is a multifunctional institute both making and exhibiting character. This renewed space is intended for variety of passionate people such as students, masters, producers, engineers, designers or ordinary visitors who would like to have an amazing futuristic experience. The aim of the object design was to create sliding through different departments without being affected by acute(sharpened) context, which is estimated by fluid geometry and organic interweaving of the space. HOLOGRAM GARDEN: -roof-communications-facade Holography is a technique that enables a wavefront to be recorded and later re-constructed. Holography is a method of generating three-dimensional images, but it also has a wide range of other applications. A hologram is made by superimposing a second wavefront (normally called the reference beam) on the wavefront of interest, thereby generating an interference pattern which is recorded on a physical medium. When only the second wavefront illuminates the interference pattern, it is diffracted to recreate the original wavefront. Holograms can also be computer-generated by modelling the two wavefronts and adding them together Relax zone/Study zone/Seminar zone -Underground level -3.5m- Studies show that floating can change our brain waves and reduce cortisol levels, therefore making us feel more relaxed. Being near, in, on or under water can provide a long list of benefits for our mind and body, including lowering stress and anxiety, increasing an overall sense of well-being and happiness, a lower heart and breathing rate, and safe, better workouts. Relax zone is placed under the base level water pool, which bottom is made of glass, giving the reflective rays to the underground. When the employees work continuously for hours together, they feel to be drained out completely. That is why they need some place, where they can relax and return to the desk fully charged. Gallery with interactive panels -Level +6m- Interactive art is a form of art that involves the spectator in a way that allows the art to achieve its purpose. Some interactive art installations achieve this by letting the observer or visitor "walk" in, on, and around them; some others ask the artist or the spectators to become part of the artwork. Though some of the earliest examples of interactive art have been dated back to the 1920s, most digital art didn't make its official entry into the world of art until the late 1990s. Since then, countless museums and venues have been increasingly accommodating digital and interactive art. This budding genre of art is continuing to grow and evolve in a rapid manner through internet social sub-culture, as well as through large scale urban installations. Caffee -Level +3m- Coffee houses, as meeting places, help facilitate the spread of information. This occurs informally, as a result of socialising, and, in some cases, through the availability of notice boards. As information passes through a social network, individuals within the community influence each other Sphere Cinema+interactive Floor -Level +1.5m- This is the newest technology applied to the cinema world. Vertical or sphere panels bring whole new dimension of multidimensional film industry. At the EXPO 2020 in Dubai audience had the exlusive opportunity to enjoy some of the innovations in this field such as a vertical cinema in South Korea’s, moving platform in UAE’s or sphere panel in Saudi Arabia]s pavillion. Video production+Post Production room -Level +5.5m- Chroma key compositing, or chroma keying, is a visual-effects and post-production technique for compositing (layering) two images or video streams together based on colour hues (chroma range). The technique has been used in many fields to remove a background from the subject of a photo or video – particularly the newscasting, motion picture, and video game industries. A colour range in the foreground footage is made transparent, allowing separately filmed background footage or a static image to be inserted into the scene Green Room/Stop Motion Studio -level +6.5m- Motion tracking or motion capture started as a photogrammetric analysis tool in biomechanics research in the 1970s and 1980s, and expanded into education, training, sports and recently computer animation for television, cinema, and video games as the technology matured. Since the 20th century the performer has to wear markers near each joint to identify the motion by the positions or angles between the markers Animation Lab+ 3d Printing Zone -Level +5.5m- 3D printing, or additive manufacturing, is the construction of a three-dimensional object from a CAD model or a digital 3D model. The term "3D printing" can refer to a variety of processes in which material is deposited, joined or solidified under computer control to create a three-dimensional object, with material being added together (such as plastics, liquids or powder grains being fused together), typically layer by layer. Some of the 3d printing process are Stereolitography, Fused deposition modeling, FDM, Selective Laser Sintering, SLS, and Selective laser melting, SLM
