House AL by N2B Arquitetura — A Modern Residence Harmonizing with Vila do Golfe Landscape, Brazil
House AL is a modern hillside residence in Brazil, integrating natural light, panoramic views, and sustainable materials with lush landscape surroundings.
House AL, designed by N2B Arquitetura, is a contemporary residential project located in the prestigious Vila do Golfe neighborhood in Brazil. Completed in 2023 and spanning 1,124 m², this three-level home is meticulously designed to integrate with the natural slope of the terrain, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape above and below the treetops.
The architects—Caio Yoshiaki Nagano, Rodolfo Biagi Becker, and Natalie Fogagnoli—focused on creating a residence that harmonizes indoor and outdoor spaces while emphasizing the visual connection with nature. The lower level hosts the outdoor areas, seamlessly connecting the living experience to the lush surroundings.

Maximizing Views and Natural Light
The main living areas are oriented to capitalize on the site’s topography, ensuring breathtaking views from every key room. Large floor-to-ceiling windows flood the bedrooms and living spaces with natural light, fostering an airy and bright atmosphere that blurs the boundary between interior and exterior.
The layout promotes a sense of openness, where each level flows naturally into the next while maintaining privacy and comfort. The integration of terraces and balconies allows residents to enjoy the landscape from multiple vantage points, creating a dynamic relationship with the outdoors.

Landscaping and Environmental Integration
Landscaping plays a central role in House AL, carefully designed to blend the residence with the surrounding vegetation. Native plantings and thoughtfully placed greenery enhance the connection between the architecture and the environment, making the home feel like an extension of the natural terrain.

Materiality and Finishes
The selection of materials reinforces the residence’s harmony with its surroundings:
- Slatted concrete adds texture and modernity while complementing the natural backdrop.
- Light-toned modular stone provides warmth and visual continuity with the landscape.
- Wooden accents in interior furniture and finishes create a cozy, refined atmosphere.
This thoughtful combination of materials ensures that House AL is both aesthetically striking and environmentally integrated.

House AL by N2B Arquitetura exemplifies modern residential design that responds to its site, topography, and environment. With panoramic views, natural light, sustainable landscaping, and carefully chosen materials, the project creates a home that is both visually stunning and intimately connected to nature.
