LIFE
'Surviving the pandemic'
Covid 19 has resurfaced and the once bustling city streets have now fallen silent. The pandemic has not only altered the way we live but also our lexicon. The maddening cacophony of honking vehicles that used to accompany rush hour traffic has now vanished.
Schools, colleges, offices, factories have all closed. Markets shut down, buses & metro trains stopped operations and those how had the privilege of owning a home exiled themselves within it. However, some people are still left on the streets to make a living. There are also those who work on the front lines, helping others fight for their lives without caring for their own.
The pandemic has wiped out millions of jobs and livelihoods. We don’t know how profoundly it will alter the course of human history. Even so, I see optimism in everyone's eyes. People are gathering courage & trying to overcome the odds. Trying their best for themselves & whomsoever they can help. Let us pray this brief period can shape us in becoming a better human being with belief & empathy.
