One in Nature
A short story of human nature
In modern world we don’t have a good relationship with nature. We live in built environments, constantly chasing after something, we don’t have time to just stop and breathe. This picture story is about finding balance between human and nature and at the same time finding inner peace.
We are so busy we forget about a healthy relationship with ourselves. We need to go out in nature, find silence, sit in the sun and just close our eyes. The wind blows softly, we feel heat on our skin and we begin to hear it. The ocean, the crushing waves, the fresh breeze blowing through leaves, the grass, the trees… In this peace we begin to find ourselves. We stand up, feel the wind blowing through our clothes, we feel happy and free. We open our eyes and we see a new world. So peaceful, so beautiful and so infinite... We feel small but united with our surroundings. Now we can begin a journey forward, journey into ourselves. We walk alongside the cliff of our lifes and we see this amazing world full of detail, full of life. Everything is moving, everything is living, but everything is connected and in an amazing balance. We try to understand it, to find this balance in ourselves, to travel further. Suddenly everything changes. We don’t feel the wind, we can’t hear the sea. We arrived in the woods. We are in the center of ourselves. Everything is different, but we feel welcome and physically connected with the world around us. We are not afraid anymore, we go further, we are in balance with nature… and with ourselves.
