Strategically positioned on its site, the refuge is carefully placed to preserve over half of the land, allowing the forest to remain the true protagonist. By doing so, the architecture not only respects the natural topography but creates an expansive garden and shaded outdoor zones that extend the livable space beyond its physical walls.
Elevated slightly off the ground and conceived as a "furniture piece to live in," the dwelling seeks to make a minimal mark on the terrain. The project embraces a low-impact building philosophy, celebrating the quiet beauty of nature through simplicity and intentionality.
