Serene House by Felipe Caboclo Arquitetura – A Masterpiece of Modern Residential Design in Pedregulho, Brazil
Serene House by Felipe Caboclo Arquitetura is a modern, 944 m² home in Brazil, featuring overlapping prisms, gardens, pool, and lake views.
Located in the tranquil region of Pedregulho, Brazil, Serene House by Felipe Caboclo Arquitetura is a 944 m² residential marvel completed in 2022. This stunning home embodies modern architectural principles, balancing aesthetic elegance, functional design, and a deep connection to nature. Photographed by Maíra Acayaba, the project demonstrates how contemporary architecture can harmoniously integrate with the surrounding landscape, offering breathtaking views of the lake and rolling hills.

The house is conceived as an overlapping composition of prisms, where solid and void intertwine to define spatial relationships and circulation. The architectural layout strategically organizes full and empty spaces, weaving together private, public, and service areas while maintaining a serene atmosphere. The ground floor hosts the gourmet kitchen, service areas, guest rooms, and intimate living spaces, thoughtfully separated yet connected by a 20-meter intermediate span that includes the central living room and internal garden.

At the core of the house lies the intimate area, which acts as the heart of the home. This space opens entirely onto a swimming pool that mirrors the tranquility of the surrounding lake and hills, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. Landscaped gardens and a reflective pond envelop the main living areas, emphasizing serenity, privacy, and natural beauty.

The design philosophy of Serene House focuses on clarity, calmness, and simplicity while addressing the complexities of modern residential living. By combining contemporary materials, minimalist forms, and strategic spatial planning, Felipe Caboclo Arquitetura achieves a home that is both functional and poetic, tailored for a lifestyle that values light, openness, and a strong connection with nature.
