Before the redevelopment, the area was dominated by concrete platforms and abandoned sheds, creating a stark contrast with the surrounding agricultural landscape. The vision for Villa Beusi was to restore a balance by removing these structures and allowing the land to return to its natural state. By demolishing the old buildings and decontaminating the land, the project laid the groundwork for a new home that would honor the traditions of the agricultural context while promoting environmental recovery.

The design of Villa Beusi is rooted in the land itself. The house is a single-story structure, simple and modest in form, reflecting the typology of the surrounding agricultural buildings. Its design incorporates varying volumes that establish a connection with the landscape, ensuring that the house remains a part of its environment. At the entrance, the structure narrows, creating a transparent pathway that allows visitors to experience the landscape in its full beauty.




Integration with Greenery

The landscape design was carefully curated to include Mediterranean scrub, olive groves, orchards, and aromatic herb gardens that serve both aesthetic and functional purposes.
