THE YIN YANG SITUATION

Children are the pioneers of the future, so the development of children is very important for all of us. Child development develops with what they see, hear and feel from an early age. Since we know this situation, we try to create a rosy life for them. We are so afraid that they will learn the evil that we set up a false life in which we constantly teach them the good. Every building made for children is colorful and just as green. So is real life like this? In fact, is this pink life that we have built for them really true? When our children grow up, they suddenly have to face real life. The dusty pink life we set up for them suddenly turns into a gray life and our children begin to have difficulties in real life. Some kids are so afraid of leaving this pink and fake world we've built that they can't grow up. This is called Peter Pan syndrome in medical science. We create such beautiful and fake worlds for them, making them afraid of growing up. So why don't we prepare them for real life? To the children that there is a good in every bad; We must teach that in every good there is an evil. Only in this way can we prepare our children for the real world. We can call this situation 'YIN YANG'.

Architects play an active role in the construction of the world to live in. Thanks to the nursery structures designed by the architects, we can save our children from the pink and fake life. The project concept is generally focused on this situation. Instead of accustoming them to a colorful structure, we take them into a concrete structure that we see a lot in the real world. This building is a nursery structure that breaks its cold structure with occasional lighting, which looks quite cold from the outside. In the interior of the nursery, a warm home awaits the children. There are many areas where they can spend time together. There is a nature section within the classrooms of this concrete structure. Children should always remember nature. Even in the classroom.. outdoors, we see concrete among the greenery and trees. Just as in the case of YIN YANG, warmth in the cold; greenery in concrete; concrete in greenery; evil in good; There is good in evil.

Children will need a lot of imagination in the outside world. For this reason, they are expected to create all the playgrounds designed. With the cubes in the garden area, children will be able to create their own games using their imagination. Some of the cubes are blue; some are pink; some are wood colored. In order to end sexism from childhood, we must set them free. Barber will set these two colors together in most games they play. Thus, it is aimed to end the sexism of colors. They will be able to draw as they wish on the large drawing board in some places. Semi-open areas have been created for children to spend time in the garden, even on hot or rainy days. Seeing the green not only in the garden but also in the nursery, they will be intertwined with nature every minute as they enter the designated area. The nature structure formed in the concrete will help them to emphasize the importance of nature.

Sometimes children will be separated according to their abilities and will be taught in classes. At the same time, a playground is designed where children can share their acquired skills with each other. In the designed playground, all children will be able to strengthen their friendship relations by sharing with each other. This playground has created a more spacious environment for children thanks to the gallery space. At the same time, it provides a visual relationship between the classrooms on the upper floor and the classrooms on the lower floor.

To summarize; The project has adopted a kindergarten setup that prepares our children for real life. In this fiction, the nursery building material criticized this situation as the order it contains. This is summarized as the YIN YANG situation.
