Container architecture transforms industrial shipping containers into functional living spaces and urban structures. This approach combines material efficiency with innovative design, addressing housing needs through adaptive reuse and modular construction.

The community explores container-based housing solutions ranging from individual homes and student accommodation to large-scale urban developments. Projects demonstrate how containers serve as building blocks for vertical communities, mobile shelters, and dense residential environments.

The main idea of the project is binary system. The concept is based on the structure of binary code. There are only 0 and 1: 1 - filled structure (residential), 0 - void structure (non-residential). Thanks to the use of the algorithm, the concept uses combinations of modules that form a competent structure of the complex.

CONTAINER CITY

The container city project has proposed the reuse of cranes in the reuse process of containers. With the use of the crane, the project is planed to be in an addible&removable structure that can be added to the increasing need in the coming years. With the crane being under the control of the stucture, an open-ended, unplaned process is left for the coming.

ZIPPER HOUSE

The project is an entry for the Container City competition and was conceptualized around the thought of someone unzipping their coat and revealing a surprising shirt. Likewise, the Zipper House appears as two interlocking housing blocks pulled apart to reveal a vibrant multi-story courtyard for everyday student use and gatherings.
