People are in a rush between their home and workplaces. They sometimes miss the opportunity to pause, look around and feel good. At this point in-between spaces (between home and workplace) in cities draw attention. Our concept is an in-between space which creates an escape point from daily rush.

MULTI FUNCTIONAL NORTH HOUSE

The arctic station is located on an island in northern Canada. Its area covers 800 x 800 m and is intended for 1000 people. The station has been designed to consist of modular parts that can be repeated. he station consists of residential modules, modules designed for work as well as sports and recreation.

Considering its form, Co-Hub is designed to be replicable and easily adaptable to various lots around the globe.

In 2100, with the growth of cities, tall buildings became a necessity. The quality of spaces also changes: they evolve into hybrids, units with increased functional potential. A person lives, works and moves in a new way. Capsule drones, private and public, single and multi-cabin, became places for life, leisure, work and just means of transportation.

I think this is a great concept to allow provide a space for homeless people by using the rooftop spaces of buildings that are not utilised otherwise. It gives a good feeling of community and safely. However there are things that haven't been addressed such as ablutions and protection from the cold.

Glashaus

As a shining example of this new process, the Glashaus offers the ability for 24 foreign students to study architecture for 2 months at the legendary Bauhaus. Grouping individuals together by floor, regardless of ethnicity, the Glashaus creates spaces within which cooperative study will flourish.
