Implementing Traditional methodologies in incremental housing model
This dissertation explores the integration of traditional architectural methodologies into incremental housing models, aiming to create contextual and adaptable living environments. The research investigates how vernacular principles, construction techniques, and spatial practices can inform contemporary housing approaches while allowing residents to gradually evolve and personalize their homes.

Beneath the asphalt, a century of industry poisoned the ground that feeds the lagoon. We remove the roads. Not to beautify. To begin. Hyperaccumulator plants draw poison from the earth, one slow season at a time. Buildings stop at their edges, not from failure, but from honesty. Ancora. Still here. Still anchored.
The Wall
Our project proposes an alternative approach towards skyscrapers; we hope to uplift the city, especially the Karun river, and purify the air of Ahvaz. Our project has the potential to become an icon by creating a diverse way of living and a connection with older city icons. Housing, environment, and social interactions are the main focuses of our design.
You have dealt with the climate problems in Ahvaz city in an excellent and creative way, and using the city map and texture as a vertical element is really smart.

A very good proposal. It keeps a perfect balance between preexisting respect and forward-thinking. the authors made a powerful analysis of the metabolism of the Eixample district nowadays. It assumes the goals of the competition (increasing density, for example) in a realistic way, feasable and equilibrate. there is also an interesting reflecction on how to "fulfill" the street spaces once the cars disappear. the proposal is very well explained, very clear and seductive. the drawings explain very well the concept, the ideas and the implementations, with nice axonometries.
A deep analysis and great infographics. Proposal respectful with the existing. I would only add that having a good synthesis capacity is important to transmit the clarest ideas... sometimes it was too complex to understand. Also, I would have appreciated seeing a more visual (more realistic perharps) photography of the impact of the proposal in the city.
What we talk about when we talk about Architecture? Do we talk about innovation, social behavior, nature, growth, time, change, sustainability, weather, citizenship, atmosphere, water, adaptability, welfare, environment…?. This project….yes.

An urban social
Our proposal implies a way to design the city thinking of all population segments, from little kids that start to discover their neighborhood to senior citizens that hardly go out anymore because their needs have changed. We designed a main collective adaptable space for different programs accompanied by a series of niche public spaces within housing blocks.
Respectul proposal. Missing a more radical and visionary approach. I wonder if I may have understood the project better with more drawings and pictures.
The idea of increasing occupant connectivity to the natural environment, thanks to a system of interconnected people or things, is the cue. Exchange information, contacts, and experience for healthy purposes needs a dynamic structure. If we think this way, from scratch, we will learn that architecture is related to innovation and sustainability. The transformation of the historical city in the last century as a leisure space has to be replaced in the contemporary cities as a productive and connective cultural and natural space. The cities need to be thought as a dynamic structure where time is the matter to design new intelligent realities.
