Fun-Go is a project where as a team we feel very identified. We chose this category since it is an aid to the area of childhood. Which is important to take into account the development that is experienced in that stage and as an important part of it, it will always be in our hearts and it will make us grow as human beings in the future.

The intention of Fun - Go is to raise the imagination, create a safe and natural environment for children in the middle of the city with a lot of movement. Encourage teamwork and have no limits.

The concept is developed taking into account the absence of green spaces that can be accessed within cities, the idea is that children not only have the opportunity to discover new environments, but also interact directly with them and appropriate it.

The predominant materials in the project were polished concrete, steel cable, high density polyethylene, varnished wood and high-density polystyrene, these materials were chosen taking into account the need for high durability over the years, in addition to the existing possibility of replacement in case of what is required. In addition, a characteristic of the aforementioned materials is that they do not represent an imminent danger for infants when interacting with the elements of the park.

For short term, the project proposes an initial park with all the necessary instruments for children and adults to enjoy quality time in healthy coexistence, enjoying freedom and security. However, some of the elements over the time will suffer from natural wear and tear, so changing them will be necessary, and one way in which we take advantage of this natural obsolescence is by generating constant proposals for the playground games and elements that adapt to the park through modules, thus each stage of maintenance would bring with it an update for users.

Over time the park will take more pleasant forms for the concurrent users, since due to the maintenance / updates the park will change with the attendees in an iterative way, it is proposed that the permanent elements become an element of worship for the community, while the components trigger the creativity of the children and this in turn allows the implementation of new games and accessories appropriate to the time in which they are developed.

After gathering several ideas about what we had planned to do for this project, we came to the conclusion that the most important thing for us in a playground is "nature", how it acts around us and how it elevates our imagination.

So, we decided to take basic forms from nature, which we can find anywhere. As a team, we took as reference a "mushroom", its simple shape and the meaning it has.

In conclusion, we took into account several design methods to carry out this project. We implement a brief investigation about what playgrounds are, how they work, which people go to, its maintenance, where they are located; and then we continue to make some sketches about it, what we were thinking, how our playground would look like with its natural elements, and how will children spend time in the playground. In this part of the project, is important to know our segment and understand what they are asking for, so in design is quite important to properly communicate the creative part, so our main segment understand our goals.

Fun – Go, maintains the importance of a playground of the past along with the technology of the future, and the importance that we must give to our children. We choose for our playground bright colors, because they catch young children's eyes and help kids to distinguish objects from one another in their field of vision. Children spend more time looking at bright colors as opposed to looking at muted shades or pastels. Primary colors red, yellow and blue, and secondary colors green, orange and purple, were some examples of what we use for our playground. Children prefer brighter colors from an early age because their eyes are not fully developed yet. They perceive these colors better than fainter shades. Bright colors and contrasting colors stand out more in their field of vision. Fun – Go, has a lot of materials that can help with children development.
