A Seamless Architectural Narrative

At the heart of the design is a custom wooden structure that extends throughout the apartment, seamlessly integrating storage solutions, concealing doors, and culminating in an elegant library wall. This sculptural feature not only serves as a display for books, art, and decorative objects but also creates a visual flow, unifying the apartment’s aesthetic.

Harmonizing Materials & Textures

A blend of natural materials such as lime plaster, wood, and quartzite introduces warmth and texture, beautifully contrasting the exposed industrial concrete ceiling. Minimalist, bespoke furnishings—including a reupholstered vintage purple sofa, sculptural quartzite details, and soft, curved furniture—add character and depth. Local artists such as Eva Jablonsky, Peter-Maximilian Ronsdorf, and Ka Mochi further enrich the interiors with their unique pieces.

Statement Pieces & Functional Elegance

The living area is anchored by a deep purple sofa, originally designed by Robert Pamio and now upholstered in Kvadrat fabric, creating a striking focal point. In the dining area, a custom-made table and chairs by Loehr Furniture blend craftsmanship with contemporary style. The kitchen stands out with its nutmeg-toned Poliform design, featuring sculptural quartzite elements and custom lighting.

A pink gradient painting by Peter-Maximilian Ronsdorf introduces a bold accent, while the home office features a bespoke burl wood veneer desk and vintage seating. The bedroom embraces serenity with custom green glass side tables and luxurious lounge seating.

A Playful Yet Refined Approach

The children’s room combines functionality with whimsy, featuring bespoke furniture, a climbing wall, and jungle-themed wallpaper. In the bathroom, opulent onyx washbasins elevate the design, merging modern elegance with natural beauty.

This Berlin apartment is more than just a residence—it’s a literary and artistic retreat, where interior architecture and personal passion converge to create a timeless living experience
