The house is distinguished by its large, insulated roof block that envelops both the interior and exterior areas. This expansive roof provides optimal shading and temperature regulation, mitigating the harsh effects of the central Vietnamese climate while maintaining a comfortable living environment. The deep eaves and thick structure offer natural insulation, contributing to energy efficiency and sustainability.

Inside, the design features a low flat ceiling that emphasizes horizontal lines, directing the eye toward the garden and creating a subtle sense of connection with nature. Gaps within the roof structure allow natural light and ventilation to penetrate the interior, enhancing the feeling of openness and calm. The home prioritizes communal living, with the kitchen positioned as the heart of the house—a space where family members gather to cook, dine, and socialize.
