VINO
The Wine Tasting Centre
The project is located at Tarija, Bolivia. The site is surrounded by an ever-terrestrial beautiful vineyard and a winery Campos De Solana at the back. The site is directly connected to the road which allows easy access to the users. The designed structure celebrates the site and the winery nearby. The aim is to create an environment that feels refined yet relaxed through the careful use of light and local materials. According to the typology of the structures in the locality, burnt bricks are used to blend the designed structure well with the surroundings and create a welcoming space for visitors and wine enthusiasts. The foyer space is well separated from the testing, recreational area, and washroom(services) by a partition wall. The furniture used is made from the local wood available there which allows it to blend well with the rustic matte burnt brick interior. Making your wine, open art gallery, and an indoor amphitheater are a few key features of this structure that make the testing space more interactive and playful. Vine cinematheque and sitting space are alluringly placed close to each other where it aims for visitors to observe different stages of the wine-making process, along with the wine-tasting experience. The left part is dedicated to the testing of wine while the rest area comprises recreational and services areas. recreational spaces contain two interesting activities. Make your wine where one has to stamp on grapes to make it and the second activity aims to draw a wine label where one has to taste the wine without knowing it and has to draw their label. We desire to create a distinctive new testing center, set against the unique backdrop of Campos De Solana buried in the landscape to minimize the structure's overall visual impact.
