Beyond its castle, the site reveals layers of nature, military memory and everyday traces. Cor Mediterraneum proposes a research center that activates the coast through knowledge and interpretation rather than mass tourism.

Terrain Anamorphosis
Kifisos, a stream of Athens, has lost its naturality due to city's infrastructure. The area we intervene is defined by an old closed steam-electric power station and an avenue above the river. We seek a new typology of urban fragments based on water passages,having erosion as a synthetic tool.
KRISIS
Krisis is a survival workshop. It is a humane quarantine. It is imagined as a transitional place for people who find themselves in crisis. One day at a workshop is imagined as a simulation of an everyday life that is now, after change, becoming a reality for those people. Location is in Athens, at an abandoned airport, currently used as a refugee camp.

TOPOS Athenaeum
The Topos Athenaeum is a place of knowledge and science, for some people it's a museum of architecture and Urbanism, for other people it's a place for learning and contact with technology, arts, design and landscaping, or even as a leisure environment, contemplation and appropriation.

Ocean Heart
We use the "4R" design concept for recycle, reuse, renew and recognize of water. Solar still can treat the seawater and treated water can be used as landscape water and irrigation and then re-enter the sea after use, which shows the water recycle.The three waterscape with swirling, still water and sculpture that expresses a new recognise of water.
Dry Water
This project aims to let the public be aware of the importance of water. Inspired by the sand on site, I decide to use sand as a metaphor, by mimicking the water by sand, leading visitors to a place where water is gradually replaced by drought. Thus the visitors may be aware of the significance and shortage of water when they walk through the project.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL TOURISM NEW DEVELOPMENT IN ALEXANDRIA GOVERNORATE, EGYPT. 'REVIVING A PART OF HISTORY THAT HAVE BEEN OVERSHADOWED BY THE GLORY OF ALEXANDRIA'. A BREAKTHROUGH IN THE EGYPTIAN TOURISM STRATEGIES.
A perfect balance, by avoiding being either a building or a landscape, by avoiding being either neutral or designed space, while at the same time managing to demonstrate basic architectural themes. An excellent concept, excellently executed and well presented.
Interesting proposal that gives something to the site and the city, and to the wider public. Would have benefited from more development of the architectural experience from within the building.
