Geological Heritage
Architecture and design that engages with geological formations, archaeological sites, and natural heritage landscapes.
Integrated Geological Learning Museun, Jaflong, Sylhet
Jaflong's unique geo-heritage in Sylhet is underappreciated and partially destroyed due to static, outdated museum infrastructures. Both locally and globally, conventional museums fail to offer immersive, interactive engagement. The region desperately needs site-responsive interpretation spaces to enhance education, conservation, and save its natural beauty.
FROM ROPEWAY TO REGENERATION: ADAPTIVE REUSE OF QUARRY HERITAGE INTO A GEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Nusantara - Volcano & Botanical Center
Nusantara Volcano & Botanical Center is an interdisciplinary project that views the volcano as a natural, cultural, and spatial entity. Through architecture, landscape, and educational programs, it connects geology, ecology, and local context, creating a space for research, interaction, and sustainable development.
Green Valley
Seems like a lot of concrete would be used to build this. Concrete and sand, that may not be the most sustainable design... But at least there is a large roof - can be covered in solar panels if needed to get some BREEAM points !
Exceptionally beautiful project. I would love to visit if this project were completed in the real life.

Summary of The Vietnamese Mekong Delta Geological Museum Thesis
Verge Geopark
Verge is a geological park in the Rio Tinto mines that is designed to be integrated into the artificial environment of the Corta Antalya mine with minimal site intervention
Well-concerted and concentrated actions. The proposed alignment produces a didactic experience, not just a tourist one.Typologically correct. Creatively developed program. good dimensioning of spaces. No stylistic abuse. It relates well to the landscape.
Despite the simplicity and linearity of the project, the overall result is interesting. The graphic quality of the presentation is also good. Its feasibility and grounded approach are a positive asset which makes the work convincing.
Transforming Landscapes, Architecture of Archaeology
A design-based investigation that proposes the convergence of the architectural and archaeological landscapes. It represents an attempt to avoid drastically altering the original landscape of an archaeological site, by closely studying the archaeological finds and placing it across time and space, to foster a unified collective memory. Under the boulders
By focusing on an inaccessible geological heritage, this proposition tries to show that it is possible to positively take action on a natural environment thanks to a underground architecture, while presenting itself as an opportunity in terms of experiences and programming. The idea is then to create a device that brings to light our origins.
It's definitely lovely simple and visually strong design, however talking about the concept, perhaps this idea would work better in a context where the roof is more contrasting with the surroundings. Now it's patch of elevated sand on top of sandy landscape. For example, a patch of empty land as a contemplative empty space within a bustling metropolis, or at the edge of a forest might be more emotion-evoking (?)
SUSTAINABLE SCARS: REANIMATED REGION
Scars should speak of wounds, but also of healing. A relationship with the environment is missing. The intention is good, but the solution does not refer to this "healing", but to an intrusion of foreign components that weakly and timidly occupy the space. Lack of Redundancy and Order.
The concept presents a good level of integration with the context. The organic nature of the system is well suited to functional co-optation and therefore offers opportunities for project positive development. More precision and sophistication in the drawings, and perhaps the use of lighter structures than those of the viaducts, would perhaps have allowed a better understanding of the specificities of the project.
Amazing!!!
Hue Imperial Heritage Museum Presentation
"A hidden museum where modern architecture reframes ancient spirit." The Hue Imperial Heritage Museum is embedded underground with a contoured green roof, integrating relics within the Citadel. It relieves historic monuments from unsuitable use, provides orientation and interpretation, and applies rainwater systems for cooling.
Very Impressive work. Proud of you.
nice
Good work!
