Dates are for UnIATA, UnIADA and UPA. UnISPA runs two cycles: winter (submit by 15 Feb, results 2 Apr) and summer (submit by 15 Jul, results 10 Sep). UnIXRA runs later in the year: submit by 15 Oct, results 10 Dec.
Quality counts as much as quantity
A school's score is the number of projects its students publish on uni in 2027, multiplied by their average public score. Each project's public score combines its jury score, member rating and likes, the same way as our competition leaderboards.
Projects entered in an award carry a jury score; every other project is scored on rating and likes alone, so entering the awards lifts your school.
The winning school receives a year of uni Institutional membership for its faculty, a trophy and a featured article.

Questions
Can I enter more than one award?
Yes. Each award has its own registration, and a studio project entered in UnISPA can later grow into your UnIATA thesis.
Can professionals enter?
UPA and UnIXRA have a Professionals category. UnIATA, UnIADA and UnISPA are for students and recent graduates.
How does my project count for my school?
Add your school to the education section of your uni profile. Every project you publish in 2027 then counts toward its Design School of the Year score.
How are entries judged?
An international jury scores every shortlisted entry. The public score adds member ratings and the likes an entry receives before public voting closes.
