Reef Rejuvenation: A Coral Research Facility for Saint Martin's Island
A thesis dissertation about ecosystem based approach for a coral research facility in Bangladesh's only coral bearing island.
wireless CORALPODS
Introducing wireless CORALPODS with no cables attached to the sea floor, mainland or anywhere else. Coralpods believe in a circular exchange with the existing marine ecosystem while providing an inclusive habitat. Both terrestrial (humans) and marine species can inhibit it.
Wow! Amazing! Great concept!
This project answers a lot of the requests needed for an habitat underwater. The form of the unit and of the coral pods respond to the conditions for pressure, light, movement underwater. It takes into account issues of food, oxygen or water provision. Addresses different space conditions both in a single unit and in a social level. Even though the exterior of the coral pod is not well shown in the panels, the proposal is very strong.
Wow! truly a futuristic yet practical idea! thoroughly enjoyed reading the brief! Well done and all the best!
Undergraduate Thesis Dissertation
This undergraduate thesis explores sustainable architectural strategies for Sonadia Island, an Ecologically Critical Area (ECA) of Bangladesh, by developing context-sensitive design guidelines that balance environmental conservation with responsible development. The research emphasizes climate resilience, biodiversity protection, and the integration of local ecological and cultural values into architectural and planning practices. Through site analysis,
The Ocean Hive: Sustainable Architecture for a Self-Sufficient Civilization at Sea
The Ocean Hive imagines sustainable architecture at sea, where modular habitats, algae, wave power and ocean waste sustain a growing colony.
A Journey Beneath the Surface: An Oceanarium Complex, Sonadia Island
Location: Sonadia Island, Moheshkhali, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh
i Ocean Museum by B+P Architects: Adaptive Reuse and Sustainable Marine Architecture in Taiwan
Adaptive reuse transforms a former marine research center into a sustainable ocean museum connecting architecture, landscape, aquariums, mountains, and sea.
COASTAL CONFLUENCE : SUBSTITING STORY OF SALT SILENCE AND SURVIVAL
In the shifting tides of our time, where urban expansion often overpowers the gentle rhythms of nature, Coastal Confluence proposes an integrated approach to ecological restoration and sustainable development in the fragile Thane Creek region of Navi Mumbai. This thesis explores the vital role of mangrove ecosystems in mitigating coastal erosion, preserving biodiversity, and fostering community resilience, telling a story of healing, coexistence, and renewal.
Nice concept and creative design
Amazing work!
Nice conceptualization and presentation
THE TALE OF MARINE LIFE : A SEA AQUAIUM COMPLEX
A live marine aquarium is a unique type of aquarium designed to replicate and display marine ecosystems found in the ocean. This live marine aquarium in Bangladesh's Sonadia, The Hidden Chamber of the Ocean, promotes biodiversity, education, research, conservation, and environmental advocacy through 3D displays, auditorium, library, and café.
Good job!!
Well done bro
Outstanding
Fostering Coexistence: Revitalizing Coastal Communities and Integrating Ecological Restoration in Karachi
This project reimagines Ibrahim Hyderi through a regenerative framework that combines wetland filtration, mangrove restoration, circular waste management, and community-led livelihoods. By integrating ecological restoration with resilient design, it demonstrates how architecture can strengthen biodiversity, climate resilience, and the well-being of coastal communities.
